Conservation

Celtic Deep Conservation CIC was set-up as a non-profit organisation to run alongside Celtic Deep Ltd. The CIC acts for marine conservation through research projects and community outreach and engagement programs. 

Pairing with Celtic Deep Ltd, the CIC is uniquely positioned to carry out field work in Wales’ offshore habitats and to shine a light on some of the UK’s most iconic megafauna. Several research projects are underway with many more prospective projects lined up. We have collaborated with NGOs, universities and other local organisations and groups to increase research capacity, trial novel methodologies and encourage local participation.
