The aim of our outreach activities is to create ocean advocates of all ages, backgrounds, identities and abilities by connecting people to the ocean and incredible animals that live there. With many elasmobranchs free-falling into extinction territory we are working to change people's preconceived perceptions, particularly of sharks. We have already run a number of activities, events and talks and have many more lined up including big plans to give people supported access to the ocean in the long-term. Lastly, with the impacts of climate change becoming more visible we hope to empower people to act for the environment in practical, fun and inclusive ways.
