Explore Snorkelling

Season: May - Oct

Focus: As an introduction to Snorkelling this is perfect for families or groups of friends. Ideal for those of you who are a little daunted about going on one of our longer trips straight away. Children from the age of 10 are welcome if they are accompanied by an adult.  

Brief: Your Explore Snorkelling experience will be 3 hours from start to finish, of which you will spend between 45mins and 1hour 15 in the water depending on the group ability. The start time and location will depend on the tide, sea conditions and the Pembrokeshire weather. We will let you know a few days before when we have the most up to date forecast.  

To start, we will make sure that you understand your equipment, how to use it, look after it and look after yourself to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable time in the water. After practicing some basic skills, we will head out deeper into the water to see what we can find. 

Our groups are small, with a maximum of 6 people so you can get the most out of your time with your experienced instructor. 

Wildlife: Underwater: Spider Crabs, Catsharks, Jellyfish, Seals, Flounders, Thornback Rays, Bass, Mullet, Pollock, Wrasse, Lobster, Velvet Swimming Crabs, Starfish

Above water: Gannets, Fulmars, Oystercatchers, Cormorants, Gulls.
